John D. sent me a Men’s Health article titled “The Fittest Men Ever” and, of course, I was intrigued. Would Rich Froning Jr. be on the list? Surely Bo Jackson, Deion Sanders, and Michael Jordan would have made this list as well…
Men’s Health – Fittest Men Ever
And while Bo Jackson and Air Jordan DID make the list, they were merely in the top 35…surpassed by actors and other media icons with no real “fitness” to speak of other than sex appeal (which has to count for something…right??).
Which leads me to this question:
At what point, if ever, will the true definition of “fitness” be accepted to be what a person can “do” and not merely how they “look”?
As a side note, I’d be really interested to see who they’d put on the list for the Fittest Women Ever…
