CrossFit for a Wish

Every year in September, the local CrossFit Affiliates get together and throw down for the “Fight Gone Bad” charity event to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.  This year, however, it won’t be happening…the event disbanded unfortunately :-(

CrossFit 702 to the rescue!  On September 22nd, they will be hosting “CrossFit for a Wish” in their new facility to raise money for the southern Nevada chapter of the Make-a-Wish Foundation.  The details, along with registration, can be found by clicking here – let’s have a good showing…it looks like an awesome workout!

Labor Day Schedule
Next Monday (9/3/12):

  • 8:30am Prep Course
  • 10am CrossFit
  • 4pm Power Hour and CrossFit
  • 5pm CrossFit
  • 6pm Prep Course

8/31/2012 CF WOD:
20 minutes to find a heavy single back squat
*then*
max rep set @ 85%
max deadhang pull-ups
*rest 3-5 minutes*
max rep set @ 75%
max deadhang pull-ups

8/31/2012 Power Hour Movements:
clean and press
pull-ups
pendlay rows
bar curls
