We’re toying around with the idea of switching up the morning class schedule. Please let us know (either in the gym or in the Comments section below) which option you think would be best:
A) 7am CrossFit, 8am Prep Course, 9am Power Hour
B) 7am Prep Course, 8am CrossFit, 9am Power Hour
We will keep the 10am CrossFit where it is
Want to attend a Level 1 CrossFit Course?
We host the Level 1 Trainer’s Course on the weekends pretty often (about once every 2-3 months) and we have to close down the gym to do so. Hosting these aren’t without their perks, though! Sometimes we get 5 Scholarship spots for our member athletes who wish to go through the course.
Attending one of these courses allows you to get a deeper look at CrossFit methodology that not only aids in your ability to help other people, but improves your own fitness level through knowledge and understanding. At the end of the weekend, upon passing the exam, you can call yourself a Level 1 Trainer!
In order to be selected for a Scholarship spot at CFME, we are implementing these requirements:
- Must have been a member for a minimum of 6 months with consistent attendance
- Must contribute to the community at CFME in a positive way
- Must strive for continual improvement in their own technique and form during training
- Submit a short essay answering “Why do I want to take the Level 1 Course?” and/or “What does CrossFit mean to me?”
We have two courses coming up in the month of October. Let myself or Lindsay know if you think you’re up for it
We just want everyone to be aware that our prices will be increasing as of September 1st (this Saturday) due to the growth of the gym! Don’t worry…YOUR monthly dues will NOT increase as long as you maintain an active membership. As soon as you end your membership, however, you will be asked to pay the then current pricing if you ever wish to come back to training. If you have any questions, Lindsay or I will be happy to answer them for you.
