Double Under practice?!

I am TOTALLY STOKED to announce that we will be hosting Rx Jump Ropes on August 4th for one of their awesome jump rope clinics.

Dave Newman, the owner, has been a buddy of mine for a few years now and, besides being an awesome guy, offers THE BEST jump rope on the market.

The 4-hour clinic will break down the mechanics of jumping rope and work the skills and drills (working the timing, coordination, dexterity) necessary to get REALLY good at double-unders.  It also comes with a jump rope custom fitted for you!

There are two registration options:  $95 the entire four-hour workshop with a custom rope, or $65 for just the workshop (if you have your own rope).

Personally, I’d like to see as many people at that workshop as possible.  Double-unders are a skill that have great transference to other athletic movements.  Also, if you ever plan on being a competitive CrossFitter, the double-under movement needs to be one of those “second nature” things where you don’t even have to think about it to do 100 in a row.

So you can bench heavy?  Yeah, ok…but what’s your “Fran” time?
